Thanks captain, that clarifies things, and I totally agree re Stuart Nicholson.
I actually think his book Is Jazz Dead or Has it Just Changed Address? (or something like that) has some very good points. But they are all too often white-anted by his own hyperbolic assertions, to which you refer.
