... a very good Faculty with fantastic facilities ... I always loved Arnie, now he will be my Gov man!!! For facilities, read golf courses, I take it. And a spare room for visiting AJs. We will expect the bulk of Wangaratta's international contingent to come from this part of the States. When does Guts assume this sub-Governatorial post?

Well you know I can always use a few extra hands in the sweatshop, I can offer $3.50 an hour, there is a recession on after all.

Good news for the Melbourne/Australian music scene... Guts is staying. His job got pulled. Apparently the University of California is broke and the head honcho cancelled all new appointments. Pretty fucked up but there you have it...

Guts is staying. His job got pulled. Pretty fucked up but there you have it... As you said, Punter, that is a pretty fucked up way of doing things and tough for Guts. To be given the go-ahead and then have it taken away is rough. Mind you, and I am not trying to make light of the situation, but I could not quite reconcile the image of Guts in an academic gown. Am I allowed to post images? Hope so. Have a look and see whether you think Prof Guts was really going to work... Actually, he seems made for the role, really.
