Yeah, but who wants to hear a trombone player ?
(Just kidding).
Actually I'll be in Germany in March, I'll get to hear him then.

yah tuggsey...all those groups would be great. the claudia quintet (featuring hollenbech) would be something sweet too.. his wife is constantly going back and forth to australia as a ayoga instructor so perhaps wang could be a well-timed excursion hmmm

Sonny Rollins would be awesome. So would Paul Bley. As long as nobody minds that the whole festivals budget will be gone after one set. Maybe everyone else can donate their services.

from o/s Chico Freeman (with same band from last year's performance at Wine Banq - Jonathan Zwartz, Gerard Masters & Felix Bloxsom) and a old favorite McCoy Tyner. Love to see Darren Paul/Percival, IshIsh again please, or any band featuring Ronny's compositions. Most of my favorites appear regularly at Wang anyway, so just a request for a repeat of the pre-booked seats in the town hall. VM

I'll second March and Simon's suggestions: Misha and Masada.
Actually I heard a rumour that the ICP might be playing at Wang.
Is this true AJ?
Would love to see those dudes in Australia again, especially before Misha is too run-down to travel long distances.
Would it include Breuker, Bennink, Honsinger et al?
And, if ICP do come, you could easy set up a duet between Will and Han.
That would be sweet!
Also, Cor Fuhler solo piano, he is better than Cecil Taylor these days.
