but i think you're kind of missing the point mark and throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Nope. Baby and bathwater still there. Just dropping the bathwater's level so baby doesn't drown, lowering the temperature so the baby doesn't scald itself and scooping some gunk that floats on the surface. Baby well, bathwater cool. I like the baby now.

Harmonic experience. More people should get this. This is not about me. I have found the book useful with some older students who really struggle with unlocking the blocks to their creativity. So many peolple actually don't seem to enjoy performing but don't know why. Although Kenny Werner does go on a bit in the book, he does put his concepts in a manner which many people can absorb. Particurlarly when it comes to the issues to do with self judgment that so many musicians silently practise.
