I had this drummer here who was er......well he was kinda shit actually, but a good friend and when we tried to get rid of him he'd totally drag us through the coals (for an ex-buddhist monk he knows a lot about Catholic guilt mechanisms)...
Anyways, he'd always mess up the forms (he was of the Ringo Starr 'there's beats and then there's fills' school) but I hounded him to learn the words to all the tunes and he got sooooo much better.
We still ditched his ass eventually, but it was a great lesson for him.
