THE NATIVES will be performing @ Bennetts Lane on Sunday 3rd June; from 9pm. Presented by the Melb Jazz Co-op. There’s some new material, a new lineup and renewed energy! Our first gig with the entire new lineup… Gideon Brazil (sax), Ed Fairlie (tpt), Shannon Barnett (tromb), Darrin Archer (piano), Tamara Murphy (bass) and Ronny Ferella (drums). The Natives are an outlet for saxophonist Gideon Brazil's compositions and musical experiments. As its name suggests, The Natives’ music is preoccupied with groove and the melodic line and compositionally draws it's influences from styles such as jazz, roots (blues/world/reggae) and free music. www.myspace.com/gideonbrazilwww.bennettslane.comI hope you’re able to make it. Cheers, Gideon

You know the scotch is talking when he becomes the anti-Bodge... intolerant and offensive!
