Hi Chaps,
I'm about to move to Paris, and am wondering if anyone can help me out a little - i.e. contacts, good jams (if that isn't an oxymoron), players to check out, pianists to learn from etc.
T'would be much appreciated.
antboy, are you still in Nantes? Do you still check this thing?
We did meet once in the dim distant past - any leads would be great!

i don't have any useful info for you, BUT if I were going to paris i'd check out Martial Solal - brilliant piano playing and some of the most incredible jazz arranging i've heard. a little showy for some though... I dunno if he teaches at all, but I think tony gould knows him (or at least knows how to contact him)

Get in touch with former Syd pianist Chris Cody..he's lived and worked there for many years..
look up his website...

I remember playing Martial Solal pieces years ago - I'll definitely get onto it.
