Demystifying the processes and language behind contemporary improvised music, three composers and 11 artists have just six hours to bring it all together.

Half Bent: In 3 Acts invites audiences to witness the creation and realisation of new works by three prominent Australian improviser/composers, unveiled and brought to life in a festival-style showcase, audiences are also encouraged to attend the day of open rehearsals.

In this studio environment, each composer has just two hours to realise their work with the Half Bent Fully Creative ensemble, featuring Mal Webb, Phil Noy, Gideon Brazil, Eugene Ball, Adrian Sherriff, Marc Hannaford, Sam Anning, Chris Hale, Cameron Deyell and Ronny Ferella.

Festival showcase: Sunday 4pm - 8pm (with intervals)
