Interesting Mark. I would prefer to think of it as simply advanced pitch memory. You talk of not being able to play clarinet because it was in b flat, but why? A middle c is only called that because some fat bastard decided that thats what the name was. A rose by any other name. So really, not being able to play a b flat instrument was because of what you'd learned, not because of perfect pitch. Then we have tempered shit too, just something someone decided was right or 'better'. Ha, us westerners always think out shit is best. When I play a c on the clarinet it's a c, and the rest of the world is wrong, idiots. I'd personally hate to have perfect pitch, and if I did, I wouldn't let anyone know.

I don't have perfect pitch which I guess is why I've never liked using an electric razor.
