Has anyone else watched this? I think it's freaky. I can't get comfortable with it. It worries me. Partly the music, partly the austerity of the setting. I'm not sure I can even pinpoint what it is. It's intriguing, but it draws and repels in equal measure. Perhaps I'm losing my mind.

St Anthony is a handy saint when looking for lost things, so if you decide to engage his services Tim, would you please ask him to find mine?

What's a Tokyo Solo? I thought he played piano.
It's like that cool nonet giannim has, was it born at bennetts? What makes it cool?
Language is so confusing.

Eh, where to start? Some of his most complicated playing alongside some of the 'simplest' (all received with apparently uniform rapture by the very polite audience); things to do with the idea of 'Keith Jarrett giving a solo concert' — metaphysical questions, at the risk of sounding like a merchant banker — the risks he can take (and does take) and, inevitably, what this might mean for the rest of us. A struggle with the feeling that one might oneself like to have a crack at what he's doing, and the immense weight of what he's already done being brought inevitably to bear in the reception of one's own efforts (even by oneself in the execution of them, too). Just some very difficult lessons in there. Added to which, the whole production looks so ascetic, and the experience of watching/hearing it is (for me at least) so intense. It ain't no Köln Concert.
Has anyone else here seen it?
