Did you notice that Shand said Hayden Chrisholm's (from Root 70) playing was "startlingly original" while McBeath (http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,22707170-5013577,00.html) said his playing was "a lightweight confection"...?

I heard one of the best gigs was Showa 44 - funny no review mentions them? Lots of things I could say, but boring cunts comes to mind! Hopefully John Clare was more adventurous in his listening? Look forward to his review, as always. Maybe it's just the old editorial issue too?

Gotta agree with what you heard about Showa 44, Guts. The only thing that ruined it a bit for me was all the people walking out.
