That the only people who check this place is me, Ali, and Guts. Maybe its time to shut it down so I can take it off my bookmarks toolbar.

I check it too, but I hear you Cap. This place is pretty much deserted nowadays it seems, and I even questioned why I bothered to log in as I did so. Any discussion that arises here is either ignored or pissed on. It's a shame.

For every poster there are one hundred readers.
OJF always goes quiet over the festive season, so by Feb there should be more nonsense to react to.
Speaking of jazz... I heard the Melbourne Fringe will not be quite the huge event that it was last year as it nearly killed the organisers. I think that's sad, I hope it doesn't get blitzed by Crown.
I'd pay big dosh to attend a Jazz piano festival using that wonderful piano at Southbank, if anyone reading this wants to organise it.
(Four paras not including this one.)

Yeah I know there's lots of readers, waiting with bated breath for every witty utterance from myself, Ali or our metrically verbose friend Ironguts.

Captain have patience or get on to Scrabulous on Facebook.
Yeah AJ I love that piano at the Iwaki but I don't like the Iwaki as a venue for a Jazz piano festival unless I have a huge budget i.e. enough to make the Iwaki enticing to an audience for a whole day and eve too.
There is so much great Jazz piano talent here in Australia, what a wonderful festival that would be... but I get to choose - got that?

Sounds like a great idea Vicki ; just make sure the dates don't clash with Wang, or Stonnington, or Melb Jazz, or the Fringe, or the Women's festival.......

Sounds like a great idea Vicki ; just make sure the dates don't clash with Wang, or Stonnington, or Melb Jazz, or the Fringe, or the Women's festival....... The Jackson men started all these festivals ('cept the Fringe) so don't blame the plethora and continuing success of them on me matey. I do research (these days) before taking on a project for the love of it. Even if I looked at the feasibility, which is highly unlikely, it would only clash with Stonnington (joke) Of course, if you booked JW for Wang then I'd probably forget all about it in the excitement.
