Mark you are LEAVING Sydney!
What, just becuase I am coming there for a week, you go to the trouble of touring eastern Europe to avoid cooking me dinner! This is a little on the extreme side, but I guess you are an artistic genius and so; you can't help it.
Better bring me back some Babushka dolls.
ciao bello and take care
Vicki xx

Hye: Fiona Chindamo and Olivia are in Seoul too for the Tae Kwondo Olympics (equivalent of). Olivia is a black belt (at 12) part of the Aussie team. They are staying at some university on te outskirts of Seoul.
Small world eh? Joe is here in Melbounre practicisng his Bach, Art Tatum transcriptions and Kung Fu and cooking for me soon, hopefully!
Takre care of yourself and don't eat too much Kim Chi, (for any else reading who may not know: Kim Chi is not a person, it is a type of pickled cabbage with chillie).

Writing from Tallin Estonia
My tour has been extended as the trio with Brian Melvin is working so well we have been invited at the last minute to the Pori Festival Finland. This is the 3rd year in a row I have done this Festival. Also I've picked up some extra work in Moscow at Le Club for which I have been angling for some time, Le Club is kind of The Basement of Moscow except that it has a more consistent jazz policy and is run by a musician Igor Butman a great tenor player who works with all the New York guys. I have also picked up a classical gig in Estonia. Don't forget to visit the news page at my website for more regular travelogue, I welcome comments (via the comments facility) on each post, especially from OJFers.
aj did you get my email?
