jazzfusion.tv/bootlegaudio.name.htmlBootlegs of concerts from the 70s by a myriad of what presents initially as "fusion" artists. A dirty word to some here perhaps, but as it turns out there's Alan Holdsworth, Herbie, Abercrombie Gateway, McLaughlin, Keith, Miles, Weather Report, Woody Shaw etc etc

Who cares how the cat who did the great service in putting up the site characterises things. All jazz is fusion. All music is fusion, other than some unadulterated folk/tribal forms where there was no contact with other cultures for a substantial period (Australian Indigenous music comes to mind). The main thing is the stuff has been put out there. Be positive people!

True...but Woody hated fusion. Tough titties for Woody. Who cares, it won't bother him, he's dead mate. He's probably at some time - due to less than pedantic cataloguing - shared a record bin with some fusion artists. Now he's on a website grouped with those same Demons. Oh well. But having said that, if he was one of those bloody rabid anti-fusionists, it's at least a bit ironic, I grant you that. Delicious irony in my book ;D
