Oh yeah Wynton, so so bluesy!!
Trumpet and vocals too.
Ah, racial harmony, both black and white fucked together. Ooo, I shouldn't say that, but fuck it.
Maybe he needed to earn some more money, it's hard to live on only a few hundred grand a year??
As Keith once said "Wynton plays the the blues like someone who drives a BMW thinks they're being sporty"

I heard a bootleg of this from a Lincoln centre concert. It wasn't great. Definitely not not contrived.
He probably genuinely likes what Willie does but it still smacks of record company cynicism.

Wynton sounds amazingly bad Terrible phrasing Lame note choice It's weird I reckon some record company executive has put the solos together from phrases from other solos to save Mr Jazz a bit of time in the studio

It sounds good 'nuff to me. Great to see Willie and Wynton together. More power to 'em.

Well no one has perfect taste that's for sure.
The whole idea of it is so far removed from any idea of art/music for me and totally stinks of commercialism highlighting an extreme lack of any imagination from a person that actually has the position to be able to create great work. Wynton keeps moving down the further down the sewer in my book, sad waste of position, money and very refined skill.

And there may be equally unflattering ways to describe your (or any of our) work if someone was so disposed.

Oh for fuck sake get real, of course you can desire to see it how you want, that's what I meant by no one has perfect taste!
BUT, this is still absolute shit and I stand by what I say. Thought you may have had a higher level of critique yourself here Mark? If you believe it has some merit then I hope you enjoy your purchase when it arrives.
I'm all ears for your other ways of describing this or my work if you so wish to?

I'm not going to argue with you. I've expressed my opinion. I respect yours. Let's leave it there.
