Oh. My. God. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3OxKdDxkpgAnd here is a comment by the composer/maker. "I made the trumpet from the cucumber and the paprika. The mouthpiece is a carrot. Being not able to take the interval is neatly worry."

Oh. My. God. yep. I was playing the Willlie/Wynton Georgia to see what all the fuss was about and got bored and clicked on this but both files ran together so I got "March of the Bee" over "Georgia". Quite interesting really. But something stranger... I just came home from a most bizarre performance. Neil Sedaka with the MSO. Complete with his 'classical compositions" half way through and a duet with his daughter (a 1980s film clip of her on her own singing). The shoulder pads were bad enough. Maybe it was a dream.

Now come on, this is brilliant! Much rather this than Wyntons Willie. You can feel the energy and communication in this at least.

Some years ago at an International Trombone Workshop in Las Vegas I heard Miles Anderson's trio (with wife on electric violin, plus a trumpet player) prepare a cactus with a mike in it, and obtain all sorts of nice little sounds by stroking its spines. Vive les vegetables!!
