This ensemble is made up of students from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music: Peter Farrar (alto sax), Dale Gorfinkel (vibraphone), Mike Majkowski (acoustic bass) and James Waples (drums). They are down playing in Mike Nock's septet at Bennetts Lane also - so, this will be a great opportunity to see them doing their own thang.

Gideon, I hope to make this. I saw them with Mike Nock on Sunday night, and it was a really terrific show. Great tunes, and really fine to hear messr's Wilson and Ball in that sort of setting. And cool to hear a vivraphone at BL, too. It'll be fascinating to hear what these Sydney youngsters are up to away from a mentor such as Nock. Highly recommended!
