A message from Amsterdam that maybe of interest to some musicians here :
Dear fellow musician, dear colleague, dear music educator,
The last week of August 2009 will see a unique opportunity to work with / play with / learn from six of Holland's top improvisors in the relaxed atmosphere of the World Music & Dance Centre in Rotterdam.
Cor Fuhler (keyboard), Tristan Honsinger (cello), Peter van Bergen (reeds), Wilbert de Joode (bass), Wolter Wierbos (trombone) and Han Bennink (drums) will be with you for a week - culminating in a performance at the world famous Bimhuis in Amsterdam and followed by the fun "Zomerjazzfietstour" festival in Groningen.
We are looking for 50 international musicians that want to expand their musical vocabulary, meet new colleagues, and enjoy themselves while they are at it. For more detailed information visit the website: www.dutchimproacademy.com
