The finalists for this year's National Jazz Awards (Saxophone) have been announced :
James Annesley, 29, from Melbourne
Nick Bowd, 30, from Sydney
Jon Crompton, 23, from Melbourne
Zac Hurren, 31, from Brisbane
David Jackson, 25, from Sydney
Jacam Manricks, 33, currently living in New York
Willow Neilson, 31, currently living in Shanghai
Phil Noy, 32, from Melbourne
James Sandon, 33, from Perth
Tim Wilson, 34, from Melbourne
They will play in the finals at teh Wangaratta Jazz festival, 30 oct - 1 Nov. The final round will be broadcast live to air on Jazztrack with Mal Stanley (ABC Classic FM), from 5-7pm, Sunday 1 November.
