*******THE CATHOLICS' LIVE DOUBLE DISC INTER VIVOS OUT 23RD OCTOBER
We can now proudly announce that our first-ever live album, the double disc Inter Vivos, will be released on 23rd October, on Bugle Records through Shock.
Recorded over two nights in the pristine intimacy of the Sound Lounge, Sydney, Australia, Inter Vivos (Latin for "among the people") faithfully captures all that is sparkling and compelling about The catholics in concert. Across the two discs are memorable versions of tunes from the full sweep of the band's eighteen-year history. (We should have done this years ago!) Over the course of the near-two hour programme, the listener is given a thorough exposure to the sheer diversity of The catholics' range of dance-based worldbeat grooves.

2 Mahal Kita (Lloyd Swanton) 11:29

And we welcome on board surrogate catholics Toby Hall on the drums, and the wonderful Andrew Robson, who has not consorted with us for quite some time, on alto and soprano saxophone. See <www.jazzaviennesydney.com.au> for more info.
