Wondering what acts people were looking forward to seeing this weekend? Personally I'm looking forward to hearing Linda Oh's band having downloaded her cd which is great, Kris Wanders band Embers, Tinkler & Barker & Charles Tolliver.

Wondering what acts people were looking forward to seeing this weekend ... I'm looking forward to hearing Linda Oh's band, Kris Wanders band Embers, Tinkler & Barker & Charles Tolliver. I'm also looking forward to hearing Oh with Ambrose Akinmusire on trumpet, and Tolliver with Oh, Mike Nock and Tommy Crane playing some of the Mosaic Select album tunes. John McAll's Black Money, the Vampires, Andrew Robson playing Tallis at Holy Trinity, Tinkler (can I mention that name here?) & Barker and the AAOrch are others on my list. I'm hoping the daily Hun will run my Linda Oh/Charles Tolliver piece on Wed ... or at least before they perform. |
