I see James Morrison is playing the State Theatre in Sydney this Saturday, with big band. My partner is very keen to see the show. Has anyone seen this type of show w/JM before? Thanks

Australia's top trumpeter! Amazing technical ability. Great showman. But there are many other Oz trumpet players I'd rather hear. That's not meant as a criticism of James M. But I'd urge Kurban to hear some of the horn players who are not as well known or publicised, but who are immensely talented and can make you weep. Many names come to mind, but I'd only leave someone out if I listed them. |
