I'm rather pleased with John Kelman's review of Aurora at AllAboutJazz. John seems to have a long-standing - even historical - interest in Australian jazz. John is also Managing Editor of AllAboutJazz and I think it's fair to say a respected voice internationally. As his profile says he's contributed liner notes to CDs by Marc Copland and Dave Liebman, Bill Bruford, Stanley Jordan, Matteo Sabbatini, and others; a chapter to a German language book celebrating ECM's 40th anniversary, Die Blaue Klang (Wolke Verlag, 2010); photos for CDs by Terje Rypdal and Tomasz Stanko; and feature articles for Downbeat Magazine and The Oxford American Magazine. You can read his review at www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=38669His work sets a high standard for jazz criticism I think (and I don't say that just because he likes my stuff, it's just a topic discussed here often).
