.......... this is a tumbleweed for anybody who pops into this once vibrant place which I established and maintained for many years. It was active for a decade, including in its early stages (April 2001 - November 2003) under a previous format and URL (a little of the previous incarnation can be unearthed at archive.org/web/web.php searching under former URL talk.to/ozjazzforum )
In this particular place you can find more than 16,000 posts in more than 1600 separate threads from and about the Australian jazz community beginning in December 2003 and petering out through 2012.
Having founded and maintained the forum, I leave it as a kind of time capsule. Due to the rise of social media (at this point in time Facebook is the favoured platform) it seems unlikely that this kind of web forum will once again become a place where discussion is had ................
