Hi there, greetings from Brisbane It's funny the things you stumble across on the net. I hadn't heard anything about this site before. Also wondering how many people know about the new ABC online jazz radio station, plays jazz seven days a week, 24 hours a day. I believe it has just started and it's looking pretty good, a mixture of local and overseas stuff, just music and no inane talking... I would be interested to hear other people's opinions.. you'll find it at www.abc.net.au/dig/jazz |

You know, if you have a digital set-top box, or Foxtel Digital, DIG Jazz is now on there too - so you can leave it on all day and have no download limit hassles |

Thanks Mary - I know I can do that BUT, and this drives me BANANAS, my TV set, huge as it is, keeps defaulting to WAY too much bass and no middle. I haven't figured out how to permanently reset the GE yet. Every time I tune into to Ovation I have to wrestle with the bloody remote for ten mnutes to get it right, this drives me insane and is almost reason enough to let my boyfriend move in with me.
No it's not, cos then I'd never get to tune into Ovation.

You can tune into Dig Jazz through cable AND also know who is on at abc.net.au/dig/jazz and keeping it open for when you want to check so you don't have to download through the net if you dont have broadband

Percussion gets the most horrible morphing to the sound.
