Half Bent will host a gig tonight (Wed 29 Dec) as a fundraiser for victims of the recent tsunami's throughout asia. All funds will be donated to Oxfam Community Aid Abroad's EARTHQUAKE TSUNAMI EMERGENCY FUND.
STARTS 9:30pm @ The Old Bar (Johnston St, Fitzroy). $6 entry plus any donations are more than welcome.
The bands: (debut) The Gigantics - w/ Gideon Brazil - sax, Ben Hendry - drums, Tamara Murphy - bass, Cesar Rodrigues - guitar & James Patterson - keys.
&
Ic-Organ - w/ Dan Macdonald (electro/perc), Lawrence Folvig (guit/electro) & Eamon McNelis (tpt/electro).
.... As I haven't got any money to donate, I thought this would be a good opportunity to raise some funds and donate them to Oxfam. I hope you are free and can all spare $6. Cheers, Gid
