Dear Mr Jackson

As you have rightly pointed out on this forum, it is important to include international artists in the Wangaratta mix.

Is it not also important to consider gender and diversity balance and role models for younger potential musicians? How long has it been since Wangaratta has featured an international non-male pianist? So I think it is fair to say, it is now time to book Jessica Williams, the brilliant Californian pianist who usually performs solo anyway these days.

All you have to do is.... e-mail her please!

Before I die I want to be able to share the live experience and amazing talents of this interesting musician with my fellow Australians, Jessica may well retire soon, and so you don’t have many festivals left to book her for.

You KNOW she is brilliant! She can’t be THAT expensive. I shall even volunteer to be her minder do the airport thing etc.

So please please please PLEASE book Jessica, Adrian for 2006. Then I can stop boring everyone with these postings.

hey vicki : all constructive suggestions are welcomed, and I agree Ms W is an excellent pianist.

Whether that means I might try to book her (or whether she accepts any offer I can make)........Let's say there are many many factors involved in deciding who does get booked each year.......options are unlimited, really........but I can assure you, I generally avoid booking anyone because they do or don't have a penis.
