If you are in Melbourne over the next few weeks go see Freedumb at the Comedy Festival. It is the funniest naughtiest, anarchic, clever humour. A Canadian and Irish couple with a Mexican internet baby. Not really suitable for the easily offended self righteous pompous wimps.
9.45 most nights near the town hall.
In a few days the show will sell out. It is really a killer but it wasn't part of the Gala so you won't see it on TV unfortunately. So forget Bennetts for one night and check out some comedy instead.
Eddie McGuire is (not) going to LOVE the Comedy Gala but I won't spoil it for those who weren't there by telling you why, just tune in and have a million laughs.
And you don't have to make a donation either.
April 3rd 8.30 pm Channel 10.

Bill Bailey (who was/is also a jazz pianist) was the best act I've seen so far. But the Toyband are really cool too and Bill's gone back to Sydney so Melbourne people who haven't seen him this time will have to wait til the next tour.
Rich Hall is worth checking out too he is brilliant.
