I reckon Wednesday's epic, stunning, unbelievable State Of Origin match would've made a believer of even the sport-hating arty-farty Mr Isaacs! And the UEFA final a few hours later weren't too shabby, either. An then there's the Super 12 final tonight! All this fun, Mark - and you're blind to it. Poor butterfly ...

Crikey, talking about sport 'til the cows come home is cool but "DON'T TALK ABOUT SINGERS"?
Is this jazz forum or a ‘safe’ forum. Are you men or mice? I say: Let's have more heated DEBATES!
Rugby + AFL boys - both rather cute in their little shorts - but do they arrange their own tunes? The vocalese in the changing rooms lacks originality and there is hardly an element of improvisation. Shockin!

I guess I'll be barracking for Argentina, on the simple theory of supporting whoever is the underdog unless NZ is playing. Actually, all I ask is for heaps of goals and extra time. That's providing I don't go to the pub and manage to get up at 4.30am. This week, free-to-air sport is looking pretty good.
Elsewhere (1): I thought NSW naming Andrew johns was a clunker, and was proved comprehensively wrong. So who knows what Queensland is up to in dropping Billy Slater? Informed sources tell it's all got a lot to do with league politics. It all seems a little bit jittery, so I expect NSW to win the decider.
Elsewhere (2): I love seeing the Lions put to the blade in a freezing South Island. Ha! Bring on the Wallabies, I say!
Elsewhere (3): Sorry, just can't excited about Wimbledon this year - so far. But that Maria Shrapnel sure is foxy - almost as hot as Bonnie Raitt.

What to do?
Wallabies V France, Kangaroos v Great Britain.
At the same time.
(It's All Blacks v Wales at the same time, too, but it's not on so it's no biggie.)
Meanwhile, stand by for fireworks next Sunday in Montevideo. I've just read a story in which Guus Hiddink basically says the Uruguayans are cheats. Blimey!
