The scenic town of Bangalow has proven to be a hot spot for cultural events and festivals in the North Coast Region. The latest cultural event to call Bangalow home is the North Coast Jazz Festival.
This festival boasts some of Australia's finest performers including:
Sharny Russell, Grace Knight, The Paul Williamson Hammond Combo featuring Tim Neal, Ted Vining Trio, Circle of Rhythm (Greg Sheehan & Ben Walsh), Tony Goreman, Paul McNamara, James Sherlock, Simon Barker, Brett Hirst & Kristen Beradi, Sam Keevers, Ian Dickson, Jim Kelly, Steve Russell, Skaddabox, View from Madeleine's Couch, FATS, Cleis Pearce, Coolangubra, AfrodizziAct and many more.....
As well as great jazz, the festival will feature Brazilian and Latin music, Hip Hop and Funk with AfrodizziAct and Skadderbox (recently toured with Cat Empire), the greatly loved 'King of Percussion' Greg Sheehan with Circle of Rhythm (fresh from the Sydney Opera House), ARIA award winner, Sharny Russell, Grace Knight Nonette, lots of exciting improvised music and a taste of Australia's finest and up-and-coming jazz players and vocalists.
