setting up in melbs

Hi folks.
It's been a while since I posted....some of you may remember me!

Just a quick post:

I'm moving to melb late feb (23rd is landing date) and am keen to get involved in the scene.

I'm keen just to meet people and play....I know a few people in the scene and have a trio organised to get started with (pno) but I'm up for anything.

I could also use some advice from seasoned melbournians regarding agents and venues and things.
I have lived there for a little while (went to VCA for hons briefly) but I didn't get right into the thick of it at that time.

Any help would be much appreciated......if anyone needs a keys player I'm up for it.
