Don't be such a snob. That folk boom stuff never was folk, of course, but it did (er) throw up some pretty nifty pop, such as (on my album) great versions of Sing In The Sunshine and Where Did Our Love Go? And Wimoweh. And the NCM were also repsonsible for being a launching pad for rock genius Gene Clark. Not that I'd expect an uptight, cloth-eared, haemorrhoidal old dude like you to be sufficiently adaptable to be hip to all this.
