Rumour has it Greg Osby is playing Perth sometime soon. Does anybody know anything about this?
Also, anybody know of any ways to maybe get him over to Melb?

would love to see him live again though. saw osby in montreal with jim hall in 2000 - really beautiful gig. amazingly, they actually compliment one anothers sound/playing. so different though...

Also, anybody know of any ways to maybe get him over to Melb? A plane is usually the best option as the drive is a bit too long. (sorry Gideon I couldn't resist). |

I must agree with Gb, there you go Adrian not a bad pairing for Wangaratta in the years to come(wish, wish). Jim Hall and Greg Osby do work well together as evidenced on one of my favourites, The Invisible Hand by Greg Osby - 2000 Blue Note Records, besides Jim Hall Greg has Andrew Hill on board, beautiful music.

Greg Osby is coming out in early Feb for one gig. I'm tryng to organise a workshop for him at VCA or something.
