OK, so I took a lengthy lunch break to trawl through the CBD looking for a summer hat. It's getting too warm for the beret, so it's time to put away 'til next winter.
Anyway, I had no luck.
The closest I got (in that joint under the stapes at Flinders Street Station) was a doozy of a panama - a deep, rich brown, and (get this) made in Ecuador ha ha - but @ $190 it was a bit too rich for me.
A lack, O woe.
