Just wanted to put up a post about Phil Boromeo. For those of you who did not know him, Phil was a melbourne bass player, who passed away last week,much too young. I attended his funeral today and was reminded of what a wonderful human being he was. I had not seen him in many years. I played at Il Primo with him for a year back in 1997. He is a reminder that kindness is one of the most important trates a musician can have.He was always easy to work with, and ready to do whatever he could to make you comfortable. So long Phil, I'm glad I was able to know you.
