Was thinking about Dianne and also thinking that the.. Booker Little record "Booker and Friend" is one of the best Records ever made and that enev Tinky would be impressed...I mean the writing and playing is just superb, and this guy was so young! I never hear ANY mention of Booker here or anywhere else, but the thing is>>>>this guy was the hippest trumpet player to ever live, including Miles..Booker wasnt given a chance like Miles... Check out his record "Outfront " as well..
And Yes I fucked Di

Tinky loves Booker, I've got pretty much everything he recorded. There is a video I've heard of I'm waiting to get hold of with him too. Out Front is one of the best albums ever. The stuff he did with Dolphy was really heavy too. He is in my top 5 of trp players for sure. Can you guess the other 4?

No reply, Scott? Hell, it's just wild guessing. Truth is, I find your style so, um, individual/fucking crazy, I don't hear much of anyone else in your playing. Although in hindsight, the Booker things makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised to learn non-trumpeters have been among your main influences. Maybe you should come on The Pearls one day and talk about it?

Herpies Albert Chuck Up Mangione Main Yard Fergy and of course our own, strains morrison, really though I'd say apart from Booker, Miles Freddie Woody Kenny (Wheeler not Weir)
the next 5 would be Bowie Cherry Satch Fats Stanko
it does get tricky round there though as theres been a few go by.
