Yeah, I'm with you. Always up for a bit of Sydney bashing. One of the biggest indicators is this site. Commendably set up and run by a Sydney musician, more than 90% of the posts and posters are from Melbourne - fully indicative of our superior music scene, players and everything else. And certainly, the posts that are the most literate/scathing/witty/humourous/insightful/wise and otherwise are all from Melbourne.

' 90% of the posts and posters are from Melbourne' so thats where all the dopiest, inane, boring, witless, childish, unimaginative posts are from. Funny it takes a northerner with a sunny disposition to create the forum. must be the melbourne climate that makes southerners so negative.

the jazz groove gig is easily the best jazz performance opportunity in australia. always packed, great vibe, sound guy, etc. etc. and they actually play 'jazz'! not funk/fusion/circus jazz/ whatever ala melbourne* absolutly brilliant.
*look, I know this is a stupid comment. but it's very rare that you get to perform modern jazz in melbourne to a large, aprecciative audience, which is fine, but it is nice to do jazz groove for a change, is all I'm saying.

Of course, the key question is: Which of the two cities has the best pho?

Pho is the Vietnamese term for soup/broth usually with noodles.
And the best Pho is in Hannoi. But If you have to ask which city has the best anything you must be stuck in Sydney, you poor thing.

Dudes the truth is......Slater really wants to move to Melbourne but his Mum won't let him. Isaacs wants to move down south but his family would cut his nuts off. Bernie reckons hes living in Melbourne anyway. Barker is too godamm polite to say goodbye Felix is confused and thinks hes stuck in Prague. Stack is too Thirsty. Sandy is a girl.. Tinkler made the right move. Morrison can stay there.
nuff said for now
