ABC Radio National’s new music documentary feature program first airs on Saturday afternoons at 5.05pm.
Repeat broadcast the following Monday at 1.05pm.

On Sat Feb 4th & Monday Feb 6th, it’s ’Louis’s Lost Tapes’A recently discovered interview with Louis Armstrong recorded in 1956 and possibly never broadcast at the time is the centrepiece of this feature. The great jazz musician talks candidly about his career and his efforts to diet, and plays some of his favourite records. This rare recording is interwoven with interviews with his remaining friends and musicians.
With Louis Armstrong, David Ostwald, George Avakian, Selma Heraldo, Marty Napoleon, Leslie Gotleib, Arvell Shaw and narration by Humphrey Lyttelton
