Sorry it took so long to reply, I've been at my beach house working on my tan.
If, as you suggest, we ban mediocre musos from being critical and mean, then who would be left to post?
The fact is that not many do gigs and most shouldn't anyhow.
One thing I know for sure, if you don't have anything nice to say then at least your not lying.
I think its high time we had some more hard core bitching on this forum. Look at Miles and Jarrett, they're always dissing players. Lets go hard all you non playing unimaginative wimps.
Jazz Police is the only one I respect.

I not going to bag anyone in this post. I will just make a suggestion in the name of balance.
Next time you're at/doing a gig:
You know how everyone says: "Yeah!" at gigs when people do good things? Well I propose we start shouting "NO!" instead. That way, a soloist is aware of their poor taste in solo construction.

JP: I already do. under my breath every time you take a solo.
This is obviously a situation I will remedy. I will yell out, at the top of my lungs "NO!!! NO, NO, NO FUCKING NO!!!!!!!" everytime you do something as stupid as you typically do.
