How come so little talk about Our Webmaster's latest? Here?
Once I'd played it on the radio, reviewed it, talked it up at AAJ there was a chance it would just disappear into the racks.
But last night when all was quiet (i.e., everyone else was asleep) I popped it on and played it beginning to end just for the pleasure of it.
My, what a magic moment. Momentous, in fact.
After that, I tried a few other things - Herbie Hancock Blue Notes, Mike Wofford - but they were just spoiling the mood. So silence was the go for the following hour or so.
