Has anyone read/come across these books?:
"Jazz Improvisation" by David Baker (revised edition)
& "Jazz Treble Clef Expressions & Explorations"

I'm researching improvising for string instruments, particularly violin and want to hear what professional players in Australia are using for resources (in conjunction with invaluable recordings).

The two above were recommended books by prof American players on the US-based Violin String Caucus.
