Ask him what the purpose of music is, or what outcomes he wants from it.
How do you make a living? Teaching, comissions etc.
What do you want/expect from a bass player or drummer.
Comping, what makes it different for various players, what does he aim to achieve?
Lyrics, does he know the words to the tunes? How does that affect what he plays?
How can he play so well in tune and have such a large range on such a hard instrument?

kenny dude ask him bout that totally gay white piano? I keep hearing about this white piano, which just shows the power of automatic assumptions which are just one step away from pure bigotry. Why should a large flat surface I am leaning on be a piano?!!! Can you see any keys? Why assume I would be photographed with an instrument? I hate those kind of promo photos. I deliberately went nowhere near a piano on my last photo shoot. It's NOT a piano. It's NOT a piano. It's NOT a piano. I HATE white pianos, because they are white for purely cosmetic reasons and always SOUND like shit. I would never be photographed with one. It's NOT a piano. Did I say it's NOT a piano? |
