Your CDs broadcast across Australia!

This is mainly for Melbourne musicians who may not know the program.

A weekly jazz radio show called Made in Australia goes out by satellite in every state (with the exception of Victoria). Produced and hosted by Paula Langlands (Sydney based) it only features Australian artists.

Paula also hosts another weekly 2 hour jazz show on a community access radio in Sydney. If you want her to play your CDs please send them to

Hi everyone, I'm a new member. The program is called "Jazz Made In Australia" and i produce and present it for the Community Broadcasting Assoc. of Aust Satellite Network. It is being picked up and broadcast currently by about 40 stations around the country and it IS being broadcast in Victoria, 4 or 5 stations in regional areas, but not in Melbourne. 3PBS say they don't take any satellite programs - their loss coz the program is quite unique. ALL AUSTRALIAN, features new releases AND occasional specials on jazz and musicians in Aust of earlier times (no trad.) some interviews and other special stuff. If you have some good recorded jazz on cd (doesn't necessarily have to be published yet) and you want airplay, contact me.

To answer some questions:- yes, i was/am a singer, been around a while, know the Australian scene well. No, program not on line, but negotiating with Screen Sound, the Screen and Sound National Archive for programs to be posted on their website. Will let you know when it's available.
