Thanks Adrian, glad to find out what is happening.
Interesting to see how much stuff has been umbrella-ed this year too. Looks like a huge amount of work.
Had a look at the MIJF website, must say the design looks very groovy, very hip indeed, however as a regular web user I would say your navigation could do with some tweaking. In Internet Explorer I couldn't access the program other than in PDF which is hard to read online.
Also when I went to the Bell awards page it wasn't clear that it was for industry people or punters. I imagine you don't want me to really send you six CDs, or are you really that desperate?
It is always so easy to criticise!
Should be a fun festival, whoopee! Gideon looks like you and Ronny have been very busy men too. I expect you'll be raking in the cash! ;-)

You can probably get printed ones at Bennetts Lane or from the festival office.

To answer one or 2 questions : * printed programs are available at various venues/shops/etc around town ; you can have one mailed out if you ring 1902 246 040, or 9662 3430 * online bookings only for the bennetts gigs at www.bennettslane.com* re Bell Awards, we expect nominations from record companies, but a lot of releases are indies ; the point is there is no value in nominating 50 different CDs, unless the judges actually have them to assess

We have had a lot of requests for this, but I can't think of a way to make it work.
There are so many venues involved, each with different deals regarding who (presenter/venue/artist) gets what % of door money, it would be impossible to allocate a share of the revenue via a Festival Pass. And impossible to ensure space can be reserved in all venues for Pass holders.
If you can think of a brilliant solution, call me collect !

The PDF on the website is much quicker to download now and if you are still having trouble reading the font size (typeface in old language) if you look at the top of your screen in your toolbar there should be a percentage number is a little box, if you take your cursor there you can click on it and blow the text up to whatever font size you need. I love the new logo by the way AJ! Can't wait for Thursday.

Bleedin hell looked at the Umbria "Jazz" festival for next July, I heard that was really good but compared to their line up for 2004 the MIJF wins hands down. maybe we should just donate our air fares to the Melbourne Jazz fest and stay home , at least the MIJF is JAZZ crikey the things that pass for Jazz these days James Brown, Alicia Keys what the? ??
