According to the papyrus this morn, at Bennetts on Monday evening one can be edified by the trio of Paul Grabowsky, Allan Browne, and Gary Costello.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking B1?
I think I am B2: it's HYPERBOLE WITH A TOUCH OF NATIONALIST CLICHE TIME:
This is one of the greatest trios this country has produced.
These guys play together rarely these days but they made one of the greatest and most inspiring albums I know, never mind the boring lists and the voting and all that nonsense; Six by three is one hell of an amzing record. It may be a long time ago and certainly the group continued to change and develop (and even, you might say, improve) but even back then they were fantastic.
So go if you can and you won't be sorry. If I'm not there - to paraphrase Terry McKay - it'll be for a damned good reason.
(Pardon my breathless rave.)

Tim, thankyou for the breathless rave. Unfortunately, my new commitment in Brisbane has meant that I cannot play on Monday. It is however our intention to record sometime soon with the trio, which will be 20 years old this year.
