So we don't just listen to music right? What are you reading?
Shantaram - Gregory Roberts This guy broke out of Pentridge in broad daylight and escaped to Bombay, where he joined the Bombay mafia. An amazing story and an incredible writer.
Broken Wings - Kahlil Gibran It's Kahlil Gibran....

Just finished Tolkien's Unfinished Tales. Some of them more unfinished than others. Now on to Give The Drummers Some, by Jim Payne. There's a contrast for you. Basically bios and interviews of/with the great funk, soul and r'n'b drummers.

Collapse by Jonathan Diamond The stuff on Easter Island is amazing, and also the way people survived on Greenland for centuries before eventually starving to death... good bedtime reading

The curious incident of the dog in the night-time --
an incredible story from the perspective of an autistic boy -- quite astounding.
Vernon Godlittle - another teen protagonist, this one is way warped and incredibly written!
Harry Potter and the Half blood prince -- I admit it, I bawled.
Shantaram was a recent winner as well!

The Crossing - Kathy Watson - about Matthew Webb, the 1st man to swim the English Channel

Im staying away from Harry Potter. I'm a sympathy crier - if anyone looks like theyre going to cry.. Im right in there with them. I even cry when sportmen/women get their medals at the olypmics or commonwealth games or something like that.
Sounds like The Curious Incident would make me cry too.
No wonder I read batman comics. He wont make me cry. *sniffle

Songs of the Suitcase - Anna Maria Dell'oso (A collection of short stories) Hey - I read that. It was an awesome read. I think I cried for that one too. I usually do. Except Stephen King's It. I didnt cry for that one. Just developed an unhealthy fear of clowns instead.
