Spotted by a Go-Betweens-lovin' colleague:
Courier Mail obit of Grant McLennan (May 13): "McLennan's sister, Sally McLennan, spoke of the family growing up in central and far north Queensland and McLennan's early years in the UK, living in a flat in London visiting Nick Cave, The Birthday Party and various nudists."
Courier Mail Letters To The Editor (May 15): "I THINK you will find that Grant McLennan was visiting various Moodists in London not "nudists'' (CM May 13-14 May). The Moodists were a Melbourne band that moved to the UK in 1983 and were friends of the Go-Betweens. The band's lead vocalist Dave Graney is well-known as a snappy dresser. Chris Clanchy, Newmarket"

LOL
I hate that rag. To the point where I refuse to even write or say its name. How embarrassment.

Now there's a coincidence. That's exactly the way I feel about your state, and its capital city. (No embarrassment, though.)
