hi there! I cant check the link just yet.. but thanks for it  I LOVE NuJazz and Broken Beats.. its just hit Brisbane and is creating great waves (err.. you have to be involved in the electronic scene to know its impact .. how hilarious). Thanks for that. I cant rave on enough about NuJazz. Such a wonderful approach to jazz. Now .. if only the jazz musos caught onto it |

It depends. I checked your link. There is a slight issue: Its too 'smart' for the electronic scene here in Brisbane (theyre not made of musos; just peeps who like 'the scene but have no musical technique to sneeze at. Nothing wrong with that.. but you obviously have a good grasp on the rudiments of music). IMO It would be well received by the jazz crowds.. depending on how you market it. If you could incorporate a few jazz standards in there too.. you could perform it before a jazz crowd prettily easily IMO. We dont get shocked up in Bris. We just stare when we dont understand! LOL |
