If you were a curator for an event and could have any muso alive of dead performing. Who would you select? Id have: James Sherlock on guitar (yes.. I cant stand guitar. But James has convinced me that sometimes, listening to guitar is worthwhile *cheeky grin) Chaka Khan and Nancy Wilson alternating on vocals Katie Noonan on BVs Babyface on piano (with me lying underneath with my head on a big fluffy pillow while sucking on my wodka from a straw) Victor Bailey on bass Phil Slater alternating with Mr S.Tinkler on trumpet Julien Cannonball on alto, My boy on tenor, John Zappia on bari Herbie Hancock on keys Nathaniel Townsend Jnr on drums Sheila E on percussion And all tunes arranged by Gil! I know.. Im boring. Surely you can come up with better!

How about a theme-dream band? All-Star Baldy Slap Heads Band (shaved heads acceptable). Here's a local line-up...
Trumpet - Stinkler Alto - Ian Chaplin Tenor - Dale Barlow Piano and bad gags - Bob Sedergreen Bass and even worse gags - Craig Scott Drums - Danny Fischer

well it's a purely hypothetical question (obviously).................but I'd probably want some great musicians who could make an even greater BAND, eg J Coltrane, M Tyner, J Garrison, E Jones.

'Ken Oath Aj. My dream band is whoever is out there every night developing some shit together. Greater than the sum of its parts and all that... Look out for Oehlers' quartet when they get back from a month and a half of solid dates, It'll be some wild shit.
