Im a postwhore. That is me. Ive been known to clock up at least 200 posts in one day. LOL I write all the time.. sorry if 95% of it is full of krap. REALLY. Prehaps an ignore button would go down well here? And of course Mr Timothy isnt chasing me. LOLS I know that - Im taking that slant on it in the hopes he actually stops targetting me. I admire the fact he continues to champion 'the Frank cause' but Im terribly stubborn. Terribly. I cut of my own nose to spite my face constantly. Im not targetting him - merely asking him to leave me the hell alone. If he wants to continue seething over an issue that only he is keeping alive... go for it. I'll unfortunately give it back. Cos Im silly  Damn your puppy is cute. And did I say perhaps an ignore button would do well here? |

Just very quickly to say it's got nothing to do with Frank. The attack on him was only the latest in a series - a catalogue - of usually bizarre and sometimes completely nonsensical posts. I hope no-one's got time to check this but if you did you'd find my antipathy towards Ladylex's contributions is a long-lived thing.
But who cares what I think? I'm just a lil white boy who actually knows how to spell 'crap.'

Well, as I was invited here, here I shall stay, until I am asked to leave - politely or otherwise LOL I have nothing against you - just so you know. I find you jumping to the defense of your friend admirable. Its refreshing in this world where people will hack each other to pieces just for 'that chance'. But if you stop targetting me and just ignore me, I will do the same and there will no longer be any unpleasant exchanges of words between us. Youve called me psycho, nuts, pfft so many other silly things which are prolly highly appropriate - but youre already preaching to the converted. You really are not telling me something I dont already know LOL Lil white boys are the CEOs of every global conglomerate. I'm only going to say this once, because in a way I'm acting against my own advice - but...
I think we all rcognise that dear old LL is single handedly defiling this site with the shear volume of her posts, the bulk of which contribute absolutely nothing of value to the discussions at hand.
The endless stream of retorts that centre around such enlightening phrases as 'pfft', 'lol' and 'Damn your puppy is cute', etc etc are beyond tiresome.
I think it's very important to ignore these posts and NOT RESPOND TO THEM IN ANY WAY.
Got it!! Esp. all you guys who seem to think by flirting with it you're going to get lucky. WAKE UP!!! This is not a dating site, although I'm sure she's managed to clog up a few of those as well...

it is true that L.L is trite and tiresome, contributes little, is obviously lonely and has no life; is musically illiterate and of a groupie mentality; is an internet age sociopath (LOL) and clogs this forum with little of any depth or consequence... but how is she so different to the majority of posters?

So much for an enlightened site. Commanding, suggesting, persuading or telling (take your pick) people they should not respond to LL's posts sounds perilously close to telling them how they should think, act or react en mass. Worse still, commanding, suggesting etc who they should ostracize from the group is akin to Fascism, especially given that this kind of bullying against a single person gains momentum, enthusiasm and justification as the group expands.
As far as I can tell, LL's posts are no worse than anyone else's and at best, show she is passionate about music and those who make it . However, it is becoming increasingly acceptable to use her as a punching bag, simply because more people are doing it. By all means, respond or do not respond to whom ever you want on this site, but everyone else's decision to do so is theirs alone.
P.S Suggesting that she has clogged up dates by way of this site is far more distasteful than anything she may have written.

maurice, I think the underlying idea behind it is that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all, although worded rather differently. The "Do Not Respond" mantra is simply to stop comment on the things that many of us might find irksome about ladylex's posts, because these comments in themselves get very dull. I'm sure you agree with that.
She herself has suggested an ignore button (ladylex, is this your way of a pre-emptive strike against those others who might have suggested it otherwise?), but I don't see that as a solution. I don't want to ignore her all together, especially because I do believe she means well most of the time, and yes, she is passionate about the music and those who make it.
Ladylex, I just find it hard to appreciate your contribution when I have to wade through soooooo many posts to get to it. My suggestion, which you are obviously free to ignore, is to speak more sparingly if you want people to take you seriously and not dismiss your posts as drivel. I do have a sneaking suspicion that you don't really give a crap whether people take you seriously or not.
